you want to eat healthy and to keep or regain your figure and also pamper yourself with great food? then choose fish meat and as many fresh vegetables as you can eat.
salmon is a very healthy fish and its high content of omega 3 makes it ideal for a diet.
if you want a spectacular salmon recipe, but very simple, which will not require too much of your time in the kitchen, then baked salmon with caper sauce is a treat not to be missed. believe me, it looks as nice as it does in a good restaurant, and the combination of flavors is divine.
with provencal spices, discrete garlic flavour, balanced by the sour cream’s finesse and the strong lemon and caper’s aroma, our salmon feels like in french riviera of the mediterranean sea. and that’s how you’ll feel when you’ll taste this wonderful dish with lettuce as garnish, sprinkled with a casual dressing.
ingredients:
-a big piece of salmon
-white wine (optional)
-2 lemons
-a clove of garlic
-oregano, rosemary, basil, marjoram, lavender, tarragon (you can find this mixture of mediterranean herbs alredy prepared or you can use as many spices as you have)
-potatoes (optional)
-salt, pepper
-100 ml cream
-3-4 tablespoons capers
-lettuce
-olive oil
please grease pan with a little olive oil. please grease the fish fillets too. spice it with salt, pepper and herbs. add sliced garlic. sprinkle fish with lemon juice and, optionally, with a little dry white wine.
if you want potatoes as garnish, then it would be ideal to prepare baked potatoes. peel potatoes, slice them, sprinkle them with oil and add some salt, pepper and paprika. place tray into oven at the same time with the salmon tray.
allow 20-25 minutes to cook at 180-200 degrees celsius. salmon is done when slightly brown (do not leave too much in the oven because it will dry).
when you remove the salmon from the oven, sprinkle it with more lemon juice.
the sauce is prepared simply by mixing sour cream with a little lemon juice (2 tablespoons) minced capers, salt and pepper.
pour sauce over salmon. decorate with potato slices. sprinkle parsley over potatoes.
prepare a green salad with vinaigrette of olive oil and lemon and serve.
the section shows how juicy the salmon is.
enjoy!
